Our support includes:
• Notarial certification of documents (if needed prior to apostille or authentication);
• Assistance with submitting documents to the Secretary of State and, when required, to the U.S. Department of State;
• Providing general guidance and additional information on next steps when the destination country requires further legalization.

Key Information
• Where we submit: we work directly with the Michigan Secretary of State for apostilles and, when authentication is required, with the U.S. Department of State.
• Document types: birth, marriage and divorce certificates, powers of attorney, corporate documents, diplomas, background checks, and more.
• Process: when needed, we provide notarial certification, prepare and submit documents for apostille or authentication, and arrange their return to you.
• Typical timing: approximately 5–14 business days, depending on the document type and the requirements of the destination country.
• Geography:
• Hague Convention (apostille) countries: most of Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, Ukraine, and many others.
• Non-Hague (authentication) countries: for example China, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Vietnam, Egypt, and more.
• Power of attorney: not required for submissions to the Michigan Secretary of State or the U.S. Department of State.
If a foreign country requires a final consular or embassy step, we provide informational guidance so that you can complete those steps yourself.
What We Need from You
• Original government-issued documents or documents bearing a notarized signature of the applicant (when permitted for apostille or authentication).
• Destination country name, to ensure the correct legalization method.
• Contact information and your preferred way to receive completed documents (pickup or return shipping).
Service Fees
• Apostille: starting at $115 for the first document, plus $25 for each additional document.
• Authentication: starting at $160 for the first document, plus $35 for each additional document.
